Blogger.com

Never used Blogger before, but I’ve heard good things so I thought why not give it a go. So far I’ve tried Xanga, DeadJournal, uJournal (now known as About My Life), LiveJournal and MySpace. They were all pleasant enough but, to be honest, I’ve never been great at that kind of community environment. I didn’t mind being added by others or left comments, but I’m never one to do it first so I don’t really feel like I fit in with those sort of places. I think I’ll stick around a few of them for the sake of my friends, but if I’m going to update somewhere regularly it might aswell be at my own website, right? That’s what I figured.

I know it’s a bit minimalistic right now, but I sort of like that fresh, clean look. No clutter. No adverts. No nonsense. I think I could get used to it. I think the templates from Blogger look very professional too. Again, there was nothing wrong with the other places, but they’re packed with ads and are downright confusing to navigate – this makes a nice change.

I haven’t really got a point for creating this Blog. I was thinking it could be for a bit of everything and nothing. Updates about my website, a little about me here and there, random thoughts and feelings. My stuff.

Well, that’s my first post – hopefully one of many. Doubt anyone’s reading but, if anyone is out there, I hope you enjoy reading my blog and looking through the rest of my website.

TTFN!

Edit as of 7th, June 2006 – I’ve ditched Blogger and have moved onto WordPress. I loved Blogger and would still recommend it to everyone, however WP gives me more flexability.
