I was just thinking though, one day I might even set up a gaming section… I have a WoW page that doesn’t get looked up too much but I could get rid of that and make it into a gaming blog… or a WoW blog… whichever…
Any thoughts?
No, I’m not abandoning the one I have… far from it – I feel like I’m improving it!
As of 7th June 2006 the previous “Suzanne’s Blog” and Flopsy’s page are no more. As of today they are blogs merged together, with their own seperate sections should they be preferred to be viewed that way.
Although I never had a problem with Blogger and liked it quite a lot, for a while I’ve been on the lookout for something more flexible, something I could have more control over. At the same time I felt that Flopsy’s page was soon going to become very confusing in its format. WordPress has brought me the best of both worlds.
It took me a while but I’ve managed to convert everything over to its new home. I hope everyone finds this as easy to comment on as Blogger was. And now of course, you have the chance to comment on any posts regarding Flopsy which you were unable to do before.
I’ll need some time to settle in, perhaps update the look of the blog, so expect a new post very soon!
P.S – Under Categories you will see posts seperated by their subject content. “Suzi” are posts about me and my thoughts (the old Blog if you will), and “Flopsy” concentrates on the Number 1 man in my life (all the posts previously found on his page).

I’m not a big fan on spam, whether it be the email or forum variety, which means I don’t take too well to blog spam. This is where someone comes along and posts a comment with no sense or reason to what you’ve written initially (this could be where they’re trying to sell you something or get you to go to a website).
I admit I’ve had a few of these and I just shrugged them off before deleting them. Well, in my last post I received another one so I’ve decided to do something about it. Now if anyone posts a comment to one of my blog entries they’ll have to view a picture and type the letters they see for verification purposes. This puts off quite a few spammers because they have to go to that bit more effort so I’m sorry to have to put most people through it but hopefully it will curb anyone who doesn’t want to leave a genuine comment…
I didn’t want to post this on my blog straight away as I wanted to sort out any problems first, but I think (from the feedback I’ve received so far) that everything’s working as it should so I think it’s safe to now.
What have I been up to these past few days I haven’t been posting in my blog? Well, I’ve been working on my forum! I’m going to use it for website updates, for other people to advertise their websites and a place to just hangout and talk about stuff.
So far I’m the only member as it’s so new but I’m sure that will change soon enough after people read this blog entry. 
Everyone is more than welcome even if you don’t post much.

I’d been thinking this through for a while, but an email I read a few days ago finally kicked me into action…
Not so long ago the main section of my website was flash. I myself had a problem viewing it when I had a few computer problems (one with colour and the other with Quicktime) and, although I managed to sort them out, I was aware that it may be a problem for some people to view. And then I received an email and it was mentioned that my site was unviewable to him (other than my blog) because of the flash.
Not wanting to alienate anyone I have today changed my front page. Now you come to a page screen asking whether you would like to view the main menu in flash or text. Choosing flash will show you my old homepage, but the new option of text will show you a simple html page listing all of the various sections I have right now. I hope this will be of help to those that can’t or don’t want to view flash.
Usually I’m rubbish with blogs, but I’m actually doing really well with this one so far. Perhaps because it’s attached to my website and I’m really trying hard to keep updating it, more so now that I’m paying to keep it running.
It is only now that I feel proud of my site and am willing to let people see it. Not so long ago I didn’t want anyone to see any of it… but now I don’t mind. It’s not finished, it’s not perfect, but it’s the best it’s been and probably the best it will ever be. I am very happy with it so far. 
I am proud of myself for something! Very rare – I am my worst critic!

A friend saw my blog entry and suggested I upgraded to the new Firefox version (1.0.0.4) and also download a program to speed up my browser. I didn’t realise that FF had a new version and didn’t have the other application so downloaded and installed both.
Well, I checked my problematic mp3 files that I was having trouble with and they still weren’t working… And then I had an idea.
So I opened Quicktime (the application my website wants me to use in Firefox to stream my songs) and lo and behold for the browser plugin section didn’t have stream mp3′s checked. I guess it had altered when I upgraded Quicktime. 
At least I don’t have a problem anymore, but I feel very foolish! Ah well.
Waaaa! number 1: I’m trying to embed some music on my website and it won’t let me. I can’t figure it out. It works fine with Internet Explorer but buggers up on Firefox (my main browser). I know it’s the right code because I specifically wanted it to work with both browsers and also because it used to work on Firefox. I haven’t altered the code at all or changed anything I can think of… I just get a plugin error about Quicktime, but it won’t let me install the plugin. I don’t get it. 
Waaaa! number 2: I hate colds. I feel tired, but can’t sleep. My nose hurts because I have the sniffles. I’m either too hot or too cold.
Meh!
Oh man, I’m tired. Serves me right for still being awake at 4:22am… Despite being tired and having a cold 
I’ve still been working on my website. I decided I wanted contact forms so I’m less likely to receive spam, so after a lot of searching I found a reliable looking script. The package with my host doesn’t have PHP or Perl so I couldn’t make my own and had to have something remotely hosted.
What am I talking about? You guys don’t care. 
Anyway, I’ve been updating my whole website to reflect the contact forms. You can try one if you like. If you do add in the comment section that you saw the link on my blog (just so I know).
I also added a few things in my personal section. The front page of it is still blank (I really need to do something about that) but I’m slowly building up the rest. Haven’t updated Insane Squirrel or Suzi Search sections properly yet and way too tired to attempt to tonight.
Anyway… that’s all I wanted to say for now other than I wish I could stop sneezing…
